We know it can be tempting to abandon at-home variety and nutritional value for easy, lightweight food on the trail. With Mesa, there is no need to sacrifice! We are working with experts to ensure that you receive the nutrients necessary for an intense day outdoors. Founded by backpackers, Mesa’s food is uncompromising in macronutrient targets, while diverse in providing vitamins and minerals for a robust diet, wherever your adventure takes you.


At Mesa, we are backpackers, naturalists, and environmentalists. We care about the planet and its people. To this end, Mesa sources organic, non-GMO ingredients whenever possible; sells only vegan and vegetarian food; and provides sustainable packaging.

We are always working to further decrease our footprint while increasing our efforts for the planet & our communities. For example, we have recently converted to a Public Benefit Corporation (PBC)!
